Mid-Valley Bicycle Club

I overheard a conversation among some MVBC cyclists. One of the riders asked, "Why is Mid-Valley Bike Club asking for volunteers?"

The other rider smiled and said, "Ya’ know, this ride we are on is being led by a member volunteer, this route we are following was created and posted by another member volunteer." 

"And you know that tour we are doing later this season…yep, that was pulled together by a committee of member volunteers." 

Without the support of our members to do the hundreds of tasks that it takes to operate a thriving riding club – we would not have group rides, we would not have multiple multi-day tours, nor the annual fundraising event that enables us to support our Bike Education program in the elementary and middle schools and our advocacy work in the region.
